Q. Do i have to have to have PAT testing done by Law?

A. No. Its not the law to have PAT testing carried out, but you do have a duty of care to employees and public if they come onto your premises. You have to comply with The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and part of this Law is The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

Q. Is it costly to carry out PAT testing?

A. No it is not that costly and can be very cost effective in preventive maintenance of your equipment.

Q. What does my Insurance say about PAT testing.

A. On most insurance policy`s it will state that you must carry out all current regulatory regulations to comply with their terms and conditions, and as PAT testing is a regulatory requirement you may find out that you might not be insured in the event of a claim.

A. We print our own labels on a variety of label types. We can customise them for you with your name and details on. We also supply bar code labels. In industrial situations we supply cable tags and coloured ties for better durability.
